I don"t think the op started this thread in order to start a pissing contest as to where to park or not. I see his point, I too park far away and not just the vette, my other cars as well. If you park near the doors with the masses then your chances of getting scratched greatly increase. If you park far away they decrease, even with those that tend to find you and park close to you. Can we agree on that? I don't think we, vette owners, park far away to display our prim-dona status, just to take a little extra care of the car most us have saved our entire lives to buy.
