Four full days how many miles? Did you go out in the middle of last Wed. night and sit down behind the wheel, I would not tell anyone?

I have put about 500 miles on it so far.. I drove it down to Milwaukee to pick up my Brother In-law from the airport. Couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to go for a cruise.

I haven't found myself sleep walking yet, but I do find myself peeking in the garage before bed every night.

Thank you.
The car iirc listed new at $5700 I paid $4100 it had appox. 4k miles. It was bought new in late '68 by a young guy who traded it in six months later on a new Chevy station wagon because his wife got pregnant. I bought it from the dealership it was purchased new from. I sold it 3 years later for $3200. You have to remember back then I was making $4.50 an hour not the $35.00+ I was making when I retired.
Things don't cost more now we just have more needless things available now than we had back then.

I was 20 years old in 1964 when I bought a 1963 split window fulie cope. Cost me $3500.00. I'm now 68 and enjoying my 2011 GS Vert. This one cost a few bucks more

Well put Bosco08, kinda anyway. I don't know if it was better to make less and things like classic Corvetes were real cheap along with health care insurance, power bills etc. or make big money and Corvettes are extremly high and healthcare insurance will continue to rise in cost as well as power bills each year and we will never be able to pay them off nor own either one. When we did get to making big mony we either invested in 401k's then lost a large portion of the investment and if you were lucky you got some of the losses back and wisely invested in long term cd's that were guaranteed by the FDIC BUT now with insurance, power bills, groceries all other utilities going up our safe investments are earning .70 percent, maybe.
