Default Someone keyed my car

This is really making me sick. I woke up this morning and my car had deep cuts running across both sides. - wheel to wheel. I have no idea who or why someone would do something like this. Even if jealousy is the motive, I'm not particularly wealthy. I'm about as middle class as they come. I'm an enlisted soldier that shows up to work everyday and saves his money. Now that I've reached a point in my life to get something this nice, somebody comes along and does this. Words cannot express my disappointment in my fellow man right now.

That is horrible. Time to call the insurance company. Maybe you can turn this around and take it as an opportunity to give your Vette a custom paint job.

You know it was probably some kids with too much time on their hands. There is no excuse for this type of vandalism.

Sorry to hear that. No EXCUSE at all, NONE! At times like this you'd like to have some surveillance camera footage.

I wish I had words to make it better but I don't. In fact, it made me queasy just looking at the pictures so I can imagine how you feel. Senseless and stupid and I feel for you. Call your insurance company, get it fixed and put it behind you.
Thank you for your service!!

Oh man, I'm so sorry. I live in fear of the same thing happening. There are so many lowlife A holes in the world who can't stand to see someone else with something nice. Find a good shop and you'll never know the difference.

I know how you feel. Having something like this happen is always in the back of my mind when I park my car somewhere. I agree, it was probably kids that can now brag about keying a vette.

I fell your pain!! What would make someone do that to any car? Hope you get it fixed right and can get back to enjoying that beautiful Vette.

Thanks for your service.

This really, really sucks! Don't let it drag you down too much though. There are much worse ways to use up your share of bad luck.
Thanks for your service. Sincerely.

No excuse for any of these low lifes that go around and find it funny to destroy what others have worked hard for.

Sorry to see and they did a good job too, sadly.

The world is a place that demands we be prepared for the unexpected.

Ya it just sucks but it can be repaired, some things in life can not.

Be positive and move on, I know easily said.

Had it done to my vette a week and a half ago. Take comfort in the fact that anyone who would do this is an unhappy person. yeah it sucks, but my view was it can be fixed, there are far worse things in life that there is no remedy for.

As a former US Army veteran and 4 time Vette owner ('99, '01, '03 and my '11), this really torques me up.

I am very sorry that you have to deal with this form some moron with no clue of what impact his actions really have.

Thank you for your service, and I hope things can get fixed back to normal soon, and with minimal pain..

I'm sorry for the senseless vandalism to your car...there's just no logic to such a classless act. Other than getting the damaged repaired give some thought to the circumstances. Perhaps it was someone who walks-by the car regularly....where was the car parked, when did it happen, can you change anything to better secure the car? Good luck on the repair.

The sad part is, if I caught someone doing that to my car or someone else's, I would not hesitate to kick their ***. Unfortunatly, I'd probably get sued and go to jail. But, it'd be worth it!!!
