...pulled the trigger and decided to sell my 2010 Coupe and last night ordered a 13 Supersonic Blue GS Coupe
Hope I'm not too late. The dealer gave me my order number this morning but also said that the last day of production for the 2013 is the 10th of September
Hoping my order get's into production well before that.
Fingers crossed.
I don't think that is correct. According to Ken Fichtner, May 7 was the first day of 2013 Model Year Corvette Production.
2013 Corvette production is expected to run for about nine months...well past the time your car is scheduled to be built.
That's what I thought but when he entered the order that is what was on the site where he placed the order.
I am hoping he was mistaken or read it wrong.
I will press him again later this week.

I have been told production will run at least through November and possibly as long as January although the C7 is supposed to debut around Jan. I think you'll be fine with your order. I'm waiting for the plant to start back up in August so my car can get built. I'm at status 3000 with a TPW of 8/27.
"The 2013 Corvette production period is expected to run for approximately nine months. Dealers planning their Corvette business into 2013 calendar year should plan their inventory needs to last through late summer of 2013. This will require dealers to closely study and plan their sales and inventory needs throughout the condensed 2013 model run. It will also mean the next model run will NOT immediately follow the end of the 2013 model run. Dealers will need to be prepared for several months in 2013 without Corvette production."

Maybe..but the C7 is going to debut in Detroit in a few short months.
