I was stationed at Luke AFB from 1990 to 1997. We'd get word one of these was rolling in and we would still got caught outside trying to secure everything. Nothing like spending 30 minutes after it leaves shaking dirt out of your hair. We did have goggles to save the eyes. My 89 C4 convertible got caught in a few of these. A good shop vac took care of the dust inside.
