You should win. I have an 05 vert, MN6 and have yet to see a stock rustsang faster than any C6 vette. Now there are some modded rustangs and a few special edition stangs, but stock rustang vs any c6, should be in your rear view mirror when you cross the line. By the way, my only mods are hurts shifter, cold air, Borla exhaust and a Cow tune.

Friends dad has a bone stock 05 C6 A4 and was running 13.1@110mph the same night some stock and slight bolton 5.0's were running mid to low 12's. Same night I ran 12.51@116 in my bone stock 08 A6

He cant drive if all he is getting is 13.1@110. That is horrible. C5 automatics run that at the track I go to. Most Mustangs are in the 13s as are the 5th Gen Camaros.

Yeah since theres a lot of driving involved in mashing the throttle in an auto car. It was 2000+ DA. We don't have magic tracks like they do out east
Friend of mine went 12.28 @ 114.45 in decent air in his 2011 GT/CS with minor bolt ons and drag radials... 6sp manual car. Just because its a "Rustang" doesn't mean its slow That would put a hurtin on a lot of LS3 cars, yet alone LS2.

I know the 5.0s are not slow, I never said they are. Plenty of STOCK down to the air filter LS2 cars run the times your car does though. Depends on the track, driver and weather. I have raced a few of them at the track. I dont have a magic track either. Ask A_Vas, where he goes is at least .1-.2 faster than whre I go.
Only one of them ever broke in the 12s stock, only one LS3 SS Camaro broke in to the 12s stock. The modded 5.0 ran low 12s with a few high 11s as it got cooler. He was running 12.1-12.2 @ 113-114. He had the factory 3.73 gears, full exhaust, tune, skinny front and drag tires in the rear.
Not all Mustangs go 12.2 and have bolt ons and tires.
There is a lot more in an automatic car than just mashing the throttle. You know better than that. lol If you mash it you will just spin. If you dont flash the converter or find the sweet spot you will bog. Granted you dont have to shift but its more than just mashing the gas.
Stock stall autos are the easiest things in the world to get consistent track times out of, I have better gearing and more HP then him and I couldn't get it to spin if I wanted to at our track.. Thats the best that car had in it that night.
Now my 3200/4000 stalled GTO, yeah there was more to that then stabbing the gas.
