I am in the process of buying a new 427 60th anniversary and have a question regarding the blue interior. I viewed a 427 in person in a dealer showroom and the blue seemed to be very dark, almost hard to detect it is blue. Now I will say where they have the car parked in the showroom it is getting no natural light, just the high ceiling lights. Some of the pictures I have seen on line on dealers lots and taken outside the blue seems much lighter, is this what it really looks like or is it possible there is a different dye lot that more or less changes the darkness. I don't know if this is a dumb question but it seems very obviously different, even on some of the different car photos I see advertised. Thanks in advance!!!
On mine it almost seems as a blue/grey with the top down. With the top up naturally its darker and seems more blueish. Kinda hard to explain LOL In any event I have gotten a LOT of compliments on it
If you're ready to plunk down that kind of money, maybe they could move it somewhere else to "shed some light" on it and you.
Beautiful car. Good luck.
It's a medium dark blue gray. Yeah, in certain lights it looks dark, but in the sunlight or even just daylight, it's a lot lighter.
One of the best interiors ever in my opinion.
In my personal opinion, the combination with black looks like crap, but like the saying goes, to each his own. The only thing I can recommend you is to CHECK IT OUT IN PERSON before spending that kind of money. The normal white is nothing special either. Buy it because you like it, not because it might be worth more than other C6s when you're long gone . Good luck.
I bought a 427 in part because I really like the blue interior. I agree with MRhine1, it's a gray-blue to my eye. Very tasteful. I get compliments all the time, even from strangers at stoplights.
YUK! First time I've seen one this close. Sorry. Not for me. I think solid blue or a different design. I could see solid blue with the lighter stripe in the center but the other bigger lighter gone. Its patchy looking and doesn't appear that it matches the 'other' blues, interior or hood.

I don't care for that shade of blue for the interior, but it's being true to all Corvette anniversary & collector editions with conservative subdued colors.
Boys and girls don't knock it till you you see it in person. If you have 'To each his own". I don't care for silver's or blue's (believe it or not lol) but I think it looks great in person and a lot of people agree that have seen mine.

You know, of course, that the 60th Anniversary Design Package (complete with its blue interior) is available on any 2013 model, not just the 427 Convertible, correct?

You are correct. And when I decided I'd buy a 2013 it was going to be a 427.
PLEASE, let me know what you guys think, i was thinking about changin the center console color to white with silver stiching on my 2013 60 427 with the blue int, also the rear console base to white with silver stiching
My 67 Marina Blue Vette roadster has a black hood stinger with a bright blue interior and a nice 427 engine . Blue, yes I like blue. I like the new blue 427s!

A little strong but I agree, it's not the greatest looking interior.

I saw it, sat in it in the shade and sun, not a real eye grabber imo. I think some of the 4LT interiors I've seen are far superior (in eye appeal).
I like it, but was worried if I would tire of it quickly or not. My first car was a white '79 Z28 with blue stripes and blue interior. Much lighter blue than this one but still blue.
I also didn't want to pony up another $14k to get the 427 60th. My loan is big enough on my GS I know I could have gotten the package on the GS vert but if I was going to do it, had to be on the 427 I'll wait a couple years for that one and buy used when it's more in my comfort zone.
