Help c6 corvette issues
I have a 2005 Chevy corvette, it's giving a component slippage code. Took it to my local dealership and they diagnosed it to torque converter or valve body. Paid them to install a new tranny. Same problem still same code. They don't have a clue about what's going on. They think it may have a rear end gear any answers? I think it may have been programmed wrong is this possible if the torque converter settings were changed?

I think it's past time the dealership requested assistance from the engineer's at GM. See what GM determines but if it's not the transmission the dealership should make it right with you. Good luck.

Before you go any further with repairs, I would ask the dealer what they suggest you do about having just paid for a new trans for reasons unknown - sounds like repair by trial and error, which is all too often the case with some dealers. You don't want to pay for that.

I'd definitely be wanting my old trans or refund of money back. You are paying them to fix the problem not make guesses at your expense. Typical dealer bulls$^t.
