Default Tell me your C6 supercharge load out!

Hey everyone, I have an 08 C6 LS3 auto bone stock and I'm looking to get a supercharger. Not only am I stuck choosing between superchargers I don't really know what else I'd need to get done to my Vette!
So to start the biggest choice is between the type of superchargers available, i.e. roots vs centrifugal. Course I'd be getting the full kit no matter which I go with and I'll be getting it pro installed and dyno tuned same day. Next, is there anything else I'd have to get installed or do the kits pretty much cover everything?

Please post your supercharger load outs and any information!

You might want to upgrade your exhaust (long tube headers, X pipe, axle back) and maybe a DeWitts radiator.

I'm running an A&A centri on an LS2. It's been on three years and no issues. Either choice (PD or centri) is a good one on a stock motor.

I am thinking the same thing...

PD - Edelbrock clean fits under stock hood. Heard bad things on canned tune
This will give you more on the low end and burn out. Then it can get heat soaked and reduce power.

Centi - Easier to drive the bottom end and spools up fast and keeps going, This has a larger intercooler and keeps stock hood. Vortech or Procharger????

Just to get you started thinking, here's a previous thread about "which is best", an LS9 supercharger or procharger:

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...rocharger.html

Then you'll probably get more help in the Forced Induction Forum:

I went with the A&A kit with the V3 S trim. I also installed Kooks 1 7/8 lt's, high flow cats, x pipe, and corsa axle back. This setup got me 587 RWHP. I'm very happy with the setup and would recommend it to anyone.

I basically have the same setup in my 09 A6 coupe. The car also has a dual nozzle meth kit installed and tuned by Lethal Racing in Lafayette Louisiana. I don't run cats and the car made 607 RWHP. The car averages 26MPG on the highway and can idle thru a parade for over an hour and never run over 205*..

Paxton SL1500 kit w/ 1 3/4" American Racing headers w/ catted X pipe and a Tial Q blowoff valve. The only supporting mods at the moment are C5 axle shafts and an ECS transmission brace. The fuel system is stock with just the boost-a-pump and injectors from the blower kit. Exhaust is stock dual-mode behind the X pipe. 589 RWHP/572 RWTQ without meth injection and with the intake restrictor plate still in place.

ECS did the installation and tune.
