Navigation / Audio Hard Button Issues
Just recently purchased a 05. The previous owner told me that the On/Off Switch (volumn does work), Seek, the one above the Seek & the Voice Buttons don't work (Hard Buttons). But a couple days after I purchased it they started working and a couple days later have not worked since. Anyone have or heard of this issue? Anyone know of a fix? Thanks in advance!!! This is my first post and looking forward to many more.

you may want to try compressed air
try spraying compressed air around the buttons. If that doesn't work you may want to take the face of the radio off and use a q-tip with alcohol and the air to dry it. Be carefull. If that still doesn't work you can have your fixed or buy a used one on the forum. I you go used, you will need to go to the dealer to have it unlocked.

Thanks, Ill give that a shot. When you say buy a used one do you mean the whole thing or can you just buy a new face?

Since there are multiple buttons not working, I assume simultaneously, I would be looking at a wiring/connector issue with a common ground before trying to repair individual buttons. I tend to try percussive maintenance first with intermittent issues.
