I'd like to sign up for dinner at Montana's on Thursday night!

Also, are there any good options for hand washing my Corvette in Bowling Greene?

Hitting the road Wednesday! Can't wait!

David will see your post and add you to the list, most of the motels furnish a water hose so you can hand wash your car, there is a car wash on Scottsville Rd. that is the main road for the motels and you could hand wash it there if needed.

Well Guys, I'm officially out. The more I thought about it, I couldn't justify the cost of the trip to see the same two C7's that I could see at the New York Car Show. The same two you can't touch or sit in.
Of course I will miss out on meeting a lot of you there but there will be other opportunities in the future.

Have a great time and be safe in your travels.

My friend and I will be headed down there Wednesday. I have a small deal on the line that could prevent me...but hopefully I can overcome that.

My friend and I would love to go to Montana's that night. I don't even have a room booked yet...ughhh. Comin down to the wire.

I'll have the supercharged Satin White Pearl C5 Z06...so, say what's up if you see me. I'm 35 and my friend is in his late 20's...prob won't be hard to find...haha.

Sorry to hear; was looking forward to seeing you there.

You know that the Wheels of Time moved their cruise night from the votech high school in Easton to the Rayhnam-Taunton Dog Track parking lot, don't you? They started a week ago from last Thursday.

As I've done in the past, here is a list of things to consider when getting ready...

For the Drive -

- Sunglasses (here's hoping!!)
- FRC Radio (If you're caravaning down with anyone)
- GPS, if you don't have one installed already
- Radar Detector
- Bra (If you have one.....also, the front of the car could use one too )
- Cruisin' Tunes
- Flashlight, just in case
- Tools, as necessary
- Wallet / Credit Card / $$$

For the Event -

- Credit card / $$$
- All your Registration info for the event and hotel (just in case)
- Screen name / name badge, if you have one.
- Cell Phone / charger
- Folding chair(s)
- Personal Mug, if you don't want to use the plastic beer cups
- Stash of your own favorite beverage, if you don't like beer
- Car Wash supplies (towels/microfiber/soap/Zaino/etc.)
- Camera/video (don't forget batteries or charger)
- helmet (if doing drags or autoX)
- Jacket for chilly evenings
- Umbrella/poncho (had to say it, but if you've been to others....)
- Sunblock
- Hat(s)
- Earplugs (if you're lucky enough to have your room right over the party!)
- Aspirin or ibuprofen for, well.........
- Extra set of car keys (placed somewhere else besides inside the car)
- Extra sleeping pillow (remember, this ain't the Ritz!)
- If your showing your car and you have one...bring your car placard/display and stand.
- Space in trunk for all the stuff you're gonna buy and want to bring home from the Corvette Store
- Oh, did I mention credit card / $$$

Anybody have anything to add??

See you there!

Is there on site registration?

There's four of us headed down from Chicago and we haven't registered for anything as of yet.

We do have rooms....so that's a plus.

Online registration is closed. At this point, just show up and pay when you get there.

I will be there on Thursday now. I have been looking for a Supercharged Range Rover Sport with a particular color combo and finally found it out in Kentucky.
Decided to fly out and pick it up myself rather than have it shipped so that I could come to the bash at the same time.

Anything I need to do in advance? Or just show up and pay as mentioned in above post?

A family affair!!

A couple of us are leaving on Wednesday morning, probably meeting up at the Hinsdale Oasis around 7:30 am, if anyone in the Chicago area want to drive down together.

Hmm...given the rather rainy weather forecast for the weekend in B.G., we better bring rain gear. But, we can't let a little rain spoil the fun. See everybody soon.
