I'm surprised that only about 40 of us are currently planning on attending this event. The BASH is always a great and fun event. But with the C7 being on display - where you can actually sit in it (no doubt some lucky person will be able to drive it), talk to the engineers and marketing people who actually developed it, listen to seminars on all the details on the development of the C7, meet, greet, get autographs from very famous Corvette people, meet the Corvette Racing Team (maybe even get a glance at the C7R)..... and on and on. This is going to be a great event for anyone calling themselves a Corvette enthusiast!
C'mon people!!!
Perfectly stated. For those who have never attended this event, now's the time. They're all great but this one is going to be a dandy. I absolutely guarantee that after attending this event and spending time at the National Corvette Museum, you will have a whole new level of appreciation for owning a Corvette.
I have been thinking, yes those that know me know that's dangerous , but what do you guys think about a meet and greet at the museum Thursday afternoon for forum members. Last year when the group got together for dinner it seemed like once everyone sat down at their tables I never got to meet most of them...
Well, I hate to be misinformed but just where is this NCM being held for 2013. Heck, I'm still looking for a corvette club to become a memebr of in the Ripon, Ca area.
At the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

EXCELLENT idea, Randy. You're right, the dinner isn't the best place to actually meet and chat with everyone. We should pick a spot (outside, maybe?) and time to do exactly what you suggest. Let me know if I can help.

Thanks, Mike, I will probably take you up on that offer.
Let's chat about it when we get a little closer to the actual date.

Great idea, Randy. Maybe we can even select a location (i.e. hotel parking lot), get a keg and we can all chip in!
I added the link ... a kegger on maybe Friday night sounds like a great idea to me, but where?
I'd suggest a hotel parking lot off Scottsville Rd where most of the hotels are located. There's the Marriott Courtyard/Holiday Inn University Plaza near the convention center where some events are held, and then there is also the Baymont/Hampton Inn option as well.
Just a thought - lots of time to decide! And Friday night is probably a better option for Forum members as Thursday might be too early for those that can't make it either Wed or Thurs.
I'm in too.... Booked at Country Inn and Suites. Real name - Bruce Bohannon screen gsx1300r (ish)... Set to check in Fri - leaving Sun AM. Triple Black LS2 Vert / spyder replica's with nice engine and music tones. Life is good.
First time I will EVER be using a AARP discount membership (is that funny or NO??)...
