You rang? LOL!
No clue what GM is bringing...We know we are getting the 2 show cars for a coupe and a convertible...We usually know at the last minute..
I'm booked at the Hampton Inn. Everything else seemed to be sold out. Hopefully it's a decent place.
The Hampton was Cruise-In Central when the Forum Cruise-In was in full swing, so yes, it's a great place. I'm actually surprised that its not already booked. Very decent place with free breakfast and clean rooms. No problem! If it wasn't for the fact that I'm using Marriott points, the Hampton would have been my go to place!

I'm sure the Hampton Inn will be fine, but I just looked tonight and there are rooms available at the Drury Inn. We are staying there and stayed there last year when we visited the museum, and it was perfect! Not a luxury hotel but very clean, roomy, comfortable, FREE breakfast AND lite dinner w/free drinks including alcohol and liquor (limit to 3 pp) and perfect location.
Looks like the rooms are approx $117-$125 per night. We got lucky and got them early at $69.

We were going to drive up and visit my mother. She lives just south of the IL/WI state line, just off the lake. That was until I saw the weather report for this weekend. NOT ! Now it'll be the second weekend in April !

Actually, Chicago and north missed this storm entirely. (Actually took my Vette out for the first time this year this morning for a Coffee Corvettes & Coffee meet and greet. ) - but getting there from the south would have been a bear!

heh ........ Right on up I-57 from Sikeston, Mo where we stay over night on the way up. Snow from just south of Effingham up to Joliet. I do not need that issue. My s/o is a nervous traveler as it is.
