How do you find hotel rooms, restaurants, etc during this event?? I was in BG during 2 weekdays when nothing was going on at the museum or factory and was surprised at the traffic then. There must be long lines at restaurants, etc. Would love to come but.......

Go to exit 22 where are lots of hotels and restaurants.
It is a great time with or without the C-7, there is Vette folks everywhere you look, get to meet with old friends and meet new ones. Oh yeah plenty of Vette's.

Yes, screw the C7 thing. I am just in a desparate need to shake off the winter blues with a spring time Corvette event and fellowship.
Needless to say this is a HUGE disappointment. I'm not trying to point fingers but it seems like this is the result of poor planning on someone's part. What sense does it make to hold the bash at a time when there aren't going to be any cars to touch, feel, and sit in? Surely the timing of when cars will be available has been known for some time now; why not schedule the bash accordingly? For my wife and me this trip will cost north of $2000; had I known that there'd be only two partial C7s there we wouldn't have made the investment. Like most here I'm a huge fan and supporter of the museum but this leaves a rotten taste in my mouth.
I agree Mike.
Oh well I guess I'm going to have more time to party
Yup, and that counts for a lot. It will be great to see you and our other forum buddies, that's for sure. Have you decided which of your two new Corvettes you'll be bringing?
Are you bringing the Vette in your avatar or your ZR1
Derwin
I will be driving the ZR1. This will be my longest road trip in it and I am really looking forward to the journey. I'm praying for sunshine and warm weather. But, I will probably be there even if it is forecast to rain the whole time.

I think I'll bring both. Nothing like 2 60th Anniversary Editions traveling together. It'll also be easier with 5 days luggage and 2 dogs. The GS is auto so the wife can drive it.
Life is Good.
See you there.
I can't make the bash in April but I'm hoping to get down there at the end of May. It's going to depend on whether they have started the plant tours by then. I would love to see the museum but if I'm going to fly across the country I want to be able to tour the plant too!

There will not be any plant tours in May - they'll still be retooling.
