That's why I don't carry a gun; I'm afraid I'd shoot the SOB if I caught him in the act.

To the OP - that sux man. I wish I would have caught them pissing on your car
Corvettes are actually quite rare around here. It's a vehicle that is going to be driven, at best, 8 months out of the year. Not practical and the Midwest is predominantly very "practical" people. Short of a punk in a Mustang here or there you just don't find animosity to Corvettes here. They are a novelty and I've found most people enjoy seeing one and talking to the owner. So yes - stuff like that just doesn't happen around here. I live in a college town that has about 70,000 people in the local area. The University is the major employer and most people in the area are quite intelligent.

I spent 4 months in Iowa (Muscatine, Washington, Iowa City). I have lived in 5 different cities over the last 20 years (not counting Iowa). You will find good poeple and bad people any where you go. All that changes is the level of anonimity (big city vs. small town). Less anonimity = bad behavior (sort of like on the internet)

We have a lot of people from Iowa that work for our company. Iowa is just like any other mid western state. If you believe there aren't any bad people there, then all I can say is......

On second thought, I won't say it.

We obviously have different views. I've lived here for almost 55 years. It sounds like you carry a gun routinely - I don't own one. That alone probably sums the situation up.

Remember there are two kinds of people. Those who drive Corvette and those who wish they could. There are a lot of slugs in the later group because they would rather wish for a corvette rather than work for one.

Yes we do. If you don't think there is anyone in the entire state of Iowa who would **** on a Corvette, then you must also live in Fantasy Land.

Do you leave your doors unlocked at night and brag about that too ?

Pieces of sh*t like that should just be murdered in cold blood. No judge, no jury, straight to execution. Oh and by the way while they're being put down make it last 3 weeks.

The guy who taped the note on the car is most likely the person who pissed on it! He wanted to do his deed, and make sure you knew he did it to cause you emotional pain. My sympathies .. But be at ease, rest assured this person will pay for his deeds. You may not get the benefit of watching the payback, but God will make him pay!

Unfortunately, no shortage of losers in the world and you happen to come across one of them. As others have said, be thankful the douche bag didn't key it.

Clean it up and don't let it get you down, or the douche bag wins. JMO

What I find disgusting is someone who would leave a note that they saw someone urinating on your car and didn't have the decency to follow and get a plate or description. The person who wrote the note probably did it. If it was in broad daylight in a busy parking lot this person took one hell of a chance. Maybe some jerk poured gatorade on it and left you that note. I agree with the post that suggested you check for a surveillance camera in the store.

I read the post just a thought, but how someone can take the time to leave the note but no info on the person ? seems weird check for video cameras in the area. Rich

How many people carry scotch tape in their car also? Even a piece of paper/pen. I would hope pissing on a car in public would get some attention so I'm guessing it was gatorade. Some idiot decided to flick some ice cream on the hood of my GS and this was near Bear Lake, UT so it can happen anywhere.

Good grief, let's keep a little perspective here. Someone urinated on your car. Likely a teen with too much to drink envious of something he aspires for, but due to his own inadequacies, is realizing he will likely not achieve. So, Billy-Bob-Joe pissed on your car. Wash it off. Then come back each night for the next week armed with a sharp machete, and, if you catch him doing it again, whack off his little weeny before he does some serious damage with it.

Even if he could prove who did it, since there is no damage, whats the most he could get from them other than maybe the cost of a car wash.

That's pretty bad but if someone wants to mess with your car it could have been worse....way worse. Wash the car and try to relax.
