You go to a car show and pretty much nobody, but Corvette people will know the difference between it and any other vert. (yes, of course some people will notice, but MOST won't). I don't hate the car (all Vettes are good), but for me it serves NO purpose, not in the same league as a Z06, I am no longer a vert person (we do own a C6 vert, it is my wifes). Also, some people believe this car is like the second coming of you know who. They are setting themselves up for a major fall. Those who buy it because they want a quicker vert than the Grand Sport or they like the LOOK of a Z06 but are into verts are the people that I can relate to.
Those who buy it thinking they are getting Z06 performance in a vert or think they are going to make money on it, are completely out to lunch.

What Racer said ! And, in addition to that, GM is gonna throw rebate money at the new ones to help the dealers move the C6 off dealer lots. This alone will reduce the resale value of a used one.
