Default 60th stripes not centered.

I'm looking at this anniversary edition GS at my local dealer and noticed the stripes are not centered.
They are slightly to the right.
Either that, or the crossed flags are not centered.
(Look at the bottom tip of the flags)
Anyone else seen this before?

It's not a huge deal, but it's already bugging me.

Just move the crossed flags over. But have the dealer do it incase they mess something up.

...you can't see that??? it's not off by much but it's not centered. It would drive me nuts. I honestly can say it would be a deal breaker for me. (if it couldn't be fixed)

Must have been built on a Friday! Just have the dealer realign the flags, shouldn't be a big deal.

Perhaps the bottom of teh Crossed Flags is centered, but the top is not. It is simply shifted a tad. Nothing will promise a perfect line up when you have only one chance to drop it on without tearing things up. Unless you tape the area off, its really going off of your eyeball.

Good luck

Nope! But then I am do for an eye exam next month. I hope they don't hold up a picture of this or I'll be going from no glasses to wearing bifocals by the time I walk out of there.

It's such a minor issue that I highly doubt the dealer will do anything about it. Hopefully, they will appease your eagle eyes .

I live 30 min south on Conesus Lake. Genesee Cream Ale huh? I'd end up with the Genesee screamers... How about a Honey Brown?

I can see it is off by a hair, but I doubt most people would notice it from a few feet away, unless you pointed it out to them.

If that bothers you that much, you might as well park your car in the garage and never drive it, because it's never going to stay perfect.

If you try that, it could very well make it worse by messing up the stripe.

Also, those emblems have studs that go into holes.

Thanks, all.
I'm not going to worry about it.
It's just my OCD acting up.

They're put on by humans. Found this one on a lot at Stasek's. Doesn't look centered, but if you really look hard at it, it is.

And here's mine. It looks a little off as well. I can live with it just fine.

If it makes you feel better my 427 had a damaged stripe that the dealer body shop fixed with me present, they did a great job and it is alot more involved than just the flags would be.
