i think most companies do it. I'm with allstate and pay 800 for the year and i think if i wanted to "store" it for 6 months it was like a $150 or $200 savings for the year. Wasn't worth it to me, i like the freedom of taking it out whenever i want. 3 months isn't bad though, compared to 6 month storage....

Nope, had the C6 out this morning with the roof off.
Come to South Florida.

It's only a day away.

I feel the same way getting my ZR1 spoiler today but it's too cold to even attempt to install it, in a non-heated garage

Once the salt is down you don't really want to drive it anyway.

Nope. Mine's a DD about 360-363 days a year. One of the advantages of living in TN - get 4 seasons a year but still drive the Vette all year.

I drove mine 1 mile to store yesterday and home again (couldn't help myself) and had to REWASH/POLISH the rear end AGAIN...that is when I pulled out the cover as a deterrent....not holding my breath tho

Live up in Connecticut, took it out for a long trip last Saturday, almost 50 degrees and clear blue skys. Trust me it won't hurt it to take it out on nice days.

I feel your pain! OK, it was like 80 here in Tucson yesterday but it's supposed to rain in a day or two. I usually welcome the rain but I've paid for a track event I may be rained-out of....they don't give rain refunds.

I do sympathize with you having to hibernate your Corvette for the winter. I can imagine you're 'jonesing' to get behind the wheel. If there's no work you want to do on the car during the downtime I guess just pray for an early spring. It's no substitute but have you tried any of the computer sim-racing games? Even some of the Xbox racing games are fun (like the Formula 1 2012 game). They might temporarily take your mind off the Corvette sleeping in the garage.

10* here, plan rolling the Z for a cruise right after lunch.
It's so cold everything's freeze dried, traveled roads clean of salt & sand. Lousy wet weather's precited for the coming week makes today the perfect chance 'til who knows when.
