Bought a 2013 grand sport stick with dual mode exhaust, pulled fuse sounds great all the time. But does new vette have a balance tube in the exhaust system?

I know that the 2008+ C6 has an X pipe to balance exhaust pulses. I pulled my fuse out temporarily, but did not like the drone at freeway cruise speeds. I actually like the NPP the way it came from the factory.

I pity your neighbors, or any school, hospital, funeral home or active house of worship you drive by.

I think the C7 has the the same NPP feature. I am not sure if it works the same way.

Are they that much louder than the ones on a 2012 coupe? I drive by all those places all the time with mine. I make it a point not to get on it when I do, so it's not very loud at all.

When's the last time you heard one?

The C7 will have NPP with a switch to enable or disable it as you like. So much for M2W or Exhaust Commander.

There are an extra set of cats on the 2012 and up that has quietened the car down a bit

Sitting in church on a Sunday morning when they had the windows cracked open. Just saying, in my opinion driving around with the fuse pulled on your NPP exhaust is not something a considerate adult should do. Of course every morning I'm awakened by all the high school kids cutting through my neighborhood with their rice rockets equipped with automatic transmissions and fart can exhausts. But I don't expect mature behavior from high schoolers, after all they are still children, not that many years removed from pooping in their diapers.

I believe the C7 exhaust is controlled by electronics as opposed to a vacuum.

Try asking your question a little bit more clearly and maybe the answers could be a bit better. By "new vette" are you referring to the C7 or your new C6? And what is the point of the balance tube question? Are you asking about exhaust harmonic effects, x vs h pipes, NPP-type options, or what exactly?

So you didn't see what kind of car it was? I can assure you that you wouldn't hear mine unless I pulled up next to the window and you went to the window. But we can make all kinds of assumptions all day about everything.
