Some people have to always have the newest thing. Happens all the time with the Iphone. The corvette is no different. The same thing happened when the C6 came out. All the people that were the first to buy one was calling the c5 old tech, and all the c5 guys were saying how the c6 just looked funky and the c5 was where it was at. (not "everyone", but you know what I mean).
I honestly am trying my best to warm up to the C7 and just when I think I'm making progress someone posts a picture of one out in the public and I don't care for it..... I still like the C6 better

The C7 is an aggressive re-design of the Corvette, and was needed for many business reasons.
I don't necessarily like/understand every last detail that I've seen/read about it thus far, but I do
generally like it and I'm certainly not dismissing it. It will sell, and it will get better...
I like it, however, the more I see of it the more inclined I am to buy a 2013 427 vert or, a narrow body coupe. I've never bought the odd numbered series Corvettes. The C1's were my dad's.

I've said I could see having a (used) C7 'vert someday (keeping my ZR1, though !).
I really like the 427 'vert, but I can move-on to the new body-style...
I still don't understand the gripes about the interior. I much prefer the interior of the C6. It's just looks cleanly laid out to me. Yes the materials could use a massive upgrade, but that is nothing our faithful aftermarket can't deliver. The seats are what they are, but again, nothing you can't fix.

The interior whiners are wanting a Neiman Marcus class interior at a KMart price. The one on my '11 is fine.
When the C7 hits the streets the C6 will be 'dated' but that doesn't mean it's any less of a car. Irrespective of the C7 I think the clean lines and look of the C6 will endure.
BTW - it was meant as a tribute to my car, not to stir excrement. However, if I was aiming for the latter it obviously worked - you showed up, didn't you...
