Default Maintenance

My 07 manual trans is in the Dealership for warranty work. They are replacing the Harmonic Balancer and Oil Pan Gasket/Line. I was told I also need to do the following due to age/miliage 46k miles ; Coolant flush, fuel system flush, man. trans service, brake flush and power steering flush. I am at work so I can't check the manual to see if this is the proper interval for these services. I am no mechanic so I can't say I'll do it myself. It's my fault I believed the salesman when I was told a certified car had it's services up to date when I bought it a year ago with 37k miles. No I don't have that in writing. Do these services sound correct? Thanks for any input.

Not truly knowing the history of fluid changes the recommendation sounds reasonable and something I would not hesitate in paying for.

If all fluids were changed at 37,000 miles then oil might be the only needed change.

Also I would pass on the fuel system flush period, unless there exists a problem.

Up to date is rather vague, date and mileage is what is needed. IF NOT KNOWN START OVER WITH REFRESHED FLUIDS

Fuel system flush? There is an induction system cleaning.

According to MAP, power steering should be flushed every 50k unless otherwise stated in the owners manual.

This may or may not help. It is from the 2007 owner's manual.

The service advisor told me over the phone that these were due to be changed. As far as the fuel system, I don't know the proper term, but was advised it needed whatever service flushes and cleans it. All of this is recommeded due to mileage and age of car 07 with 46k miles. It runs perfect and had an oil change at the same dealer just 1500 miles ago. Thanks again for the feedback. Bob
