Did my Kooks, coated the x pipe as well. I highly recommend ARP Studs. My first experience with headers back in 2000, I broke a bolt. Header studs make the job super easy. Don't use the gasket from kooks, get an new fresh OEM gasket - just one man's opinion and experience...
I used 4 jack stands and 2 cross members to lift the car, properly. had just enough clearance.

I bought 4 High lift stands at Sears. I bought ones that
go 21 inches. Have done 3 sets of headers with those.
It's pretty easy only 4-5 hrs with a helper.
TOO high DIY!
buy ARH or KOOKS!

Berkk4422 Thanks for the info. Going to order those studs today. What are the benefits of doing the x-pipe? Excuse my ignorance lol.

Change your tunnel plate while you are at it (Elite Enginerring). It will help with the console heat and the body flex.

The ceramic coating reduces the heat loss under the car. The console inside the car feels much cooler as a result. Plus it looks cool
I had Kooks coater do the headers. I had a local coater in Raleigh do the exterior of the X pipe.

Wish we could get $1100-$1400 to install headers and tune. LOL
It's cheaper here. Even cheaper if we supply parts and do the work.
