Default Ceramic coating headers and ???

Hello,
I take delivery on my headers, x pipe, this week.
I plan on sending them out to get ceramic coating asap.

My question is do I just CC the headers or headers and Xpipe?

Thanks,

J.

I would do it all, but it is really the headers you would be concerned with

I would recommend both. I had my headers coated inside and out and just the outside of the X-pipe coated. I was very happy with my decision as the tunnel temp is way down and the inside of the car does not get nearly as hot as it used to. Also, I have no concerns of melting wires.

It depends. If you go cat-less, then you can ceramic coat the x-pipe, but if you have cats, just do the headers.

I just got my set 2 months ago, and only did the headers since I have cats.

Just sent a job request to jethot, awaiting call back.

John.

Curious to understand your cat, non-cat reason.

Thanks.

You have already won by picking ceramic. If they dont charge u to much to do the X why not. Ask them about cats and heat before you do the X. I am not sure its an issue as more heat will be carried away from the engine through the exhaust.

Ceramic cools really quickly also.

I wouldn't do either unless you intend on doing serious road racing with it.

Im doing the headers and x pipe.
No issues with the x pipe as only the outside is coated.
I want to do this to keep temps down as it does get hot with stock system in the cabin.
In the long run should I do further mods, its already done.

Thanks for everyones input.
