I own a 2007 C6 LT3 Convertible and I drove it in the rain today (I know, OMG!). Now, I've had this car for 5 years now and usually try to avoid the rain but today I had to run an important errand and the other cars were not home.
Anyways, on the way home I am sitting at a drive-through waiting for my coffee and I drop the window. The water starts dripping like crazy off the side of the roof and into the car. I've experienced this before but today I thought I'd bring it into the forum in hopes of a solution. I was constantly wiping the interior door panel and looked like a maniac to the staff lol.
So what's the deal with this? And is there a fix or am I just gonna have to put up with it?

Thanks for any help!
Experienced the same thing today here in the great state of Pennsylvania *sarcasm*. I just keep a hand rag in the glove box just incase. First time it happened to me I was worried it was going to get into the switches on the door and short them out.
Everything is fine though. I try to avoid driving it anywhere that requires rolling my windows down in the rain though.
Happens in a vert as well. My wife had a MG Midget in the early 70s, It had a fold at the edge of the top to form a gutter to prevent this. I guess this is supposed to be an improvement for the C6.

I would sell the car immediately. There is no sense in being really ticked off - life is way too short. Sell the car and buy a chevy sonic and an umbrella. Also remember that the fact that a couple of drops of rain entered your car will likely appear on carfax. You may also have to have it retitled as a flood car.

Next time bring a set of ramps. Get out and place said ramps on paved surface in drive thru lane. Drive the drivers side only up on those ramps to get the water to run to the passengers side. Open up drivers side window. Just don't open up the passenger's side window or you will find yourself in the same situation. Then once you get your coffee, back up off the ramps and place the ramps back in the car. Drive away.
.......or you can just go inside and get your coffee.
You have to put up with it unless you want to try to find some rain gutters that fit your roof.
A convertible roof? I don't think there will be any rain gutters that fit, or can be made to fit. Really.
Yes, OP you will have to live with it. I do on the occasions when I'm out in the rain. Can't recall if coupe is done any better but it has the chance to be designed differently.
