Got a 07 couple months ago and all 4 tires is about wore out,got to buy some soon but my question is on the front tires the inside of both of them are wore more than the outside.Inside edge is wore worse on both front tires more than the outside edge of them, like the toe is off on the car,it drives perfect, dont pull and goes straight, steers good.car has around 50,000 miles on it now and on the carfax it showed he had a alignment at around 32,000 miles 4 wheel alignment.
A guy told me that was pretty normal that his corvette done the same thing that they all pretty much wear like that,i was wondering if i should get it a new alignment when i buy new tires or just leave it alone? Car has the goodyear runfalts.
thanks guys
Yes on alignment and most will suggest a PFADT street alignment. Also it seems most switch brands of tires....little love on this forum for the goodyears.

^ Absolutely agree with getting an alignment using the PHADT street specs. You most always hear good thing about both Bridgestone and Michelin ZP tires - might want to consider either of those
Ya,going to buy something different other than the goodyear.
What does this alignment do and how does it differ form the orignal alignment?
thanks
it's an alignment that is tailored for Corvette (by model) by Pfadt Race Engineering, and is within the GM specifications,
which have a wide range. Check their website for info and a spec. chart...

We bought our 2007 coupe last September. It had 26000 miles when we got it and now has 34000 miles. It also had the Goodyear runflats that in my opinion were very noisy while driving. There was no pull that would indicate an alignment problem.
Last month while cleaning the wheels I discovered that the inside of the drivers side front tire was worn to the cord. We were planning to join the Power Tour the next day so I had to get new tires right away.
When we had to put tires on our previous Vette (C5) we had Michelin Pilot Sport runflats installed, so that is what we did this time too. I also had the alignment checked and found that all four wheels were out of correct alignment. Since an alignment only costs about $95 I plan to have the alignment checked every year. The ride and the noise level is much better with the Michelins.

I did mine at 700 miles. Too much chatter of excessive tire wear so I had it checked. It needed this adjustment. Very happy so far.
Just had my '08 coupe aligned, at my dealer, with the Pfadt street spec. They knew exactly what and why I wanted this spec. and provided the computer printout to confirm the 4 wheel alignment. Cost was $89.00 minus a discount.
The handling APPEARS to be a LITTLE more aggressive, which I find as an attribute.
