You're getting way too bothered about something you have no control over. If they don't wave, forget about it.

Catch me at a a car show and I tend to be a bit more relaxed, and am somewhat able to deal with people, but on the road, or in a parking lot? You'll get nothing from me.
I'm seeing a black car ,black rims, heavy tint, you get a pass cause we can't tell if your waving or not. We just think there goes a cool guy.
See you can fool us!!!

I always wave and usually get a wave back. The other day I was coming up on a gas station and a red vert was waiting to pull out to go in the opposite direction. Knowing he probably couldn't see me, I rolled the window down and gave him a wave over the roof. I got an awesome wave back.

I bought my first and only Vette when I was 29 (30 now), a 2013 C6 AT coupe. I was not what you'd call an enthusiast till about 6 months before I bought the car. Somehow I heard about the wave, probly here on CF. anyways, I am a regular waver at all vettes, and too have experienced the neglect of non-waivers. Cant explain it. Maybe they just don't know, I don't now you can drive this car though and treat it like any other car.

Keep waiving fellas , eventually they'll figure it out

Got a great wave yesterday . On a highway merge .... another red Vette is in my rear view coming up from behind 1/4 mile back. As I take an off ramp . He high beams me ... we both get the windows down .... 60 ft apart for a High five wave . Light traffic no high speed chases required . Always nice to see a twin car to yours .

Drove from Augusta back to Atlanta, GA. today and saw three red corvettes. Gave the "WAVE" got a wave back from one for sure. The other two was to far away and windows were tinted to dark to tell but I wave anyway.

I always wave if I see the fellow vette owner in time.
I also wear driving gloves, just because I like them.
If you notice them, please don't think I am an arrogant, pretentious, pompous ***.

I waved at Vettes all day today from my Ducati.
My buddy behind me was surprised that they waved back.

C1 owners always waved. I was one when there were only C1's. Not very common to see one outside of Florida then, but we waved:smash.

Problem is, most of them are dead. If they could, they would be waving

PS
Not even close. Red car, silver wheels (I'll be getting chrome eventually) and absolutely no tint. I despise black wheels, especially on black cars. I think the site would censor what I think when people wave to me as they go by.

P.S. How very kind of you to make fun of me for having social anxiety issues, I don't get that nearly enough. And people wonder why I hate people.

Default wave

Just got home from a day at Ocean City , Md. and got a few nice waves, and Of course I returned the wave. The best was a black z came along side me at 75 mph and we both waved through our side windows as I took an exit for De.

I always wave. But, then again, I constantly scan.

When I'm behind the wheel, I drive.

And wave.
