I am in the same boat as far as sound goes. After some extensive research on exhaust systems I am going with the Corsa X-O style crossover pipes (part #14163) along with their Sport Axle Back system (part #14169). Check out www.corsaperformance.com/sounds.aspx and you can hear these systems. The part numbers I have given are for a 2007 C6 manual transmission. There is also an Xtreme Axle Back system that can still be bought (part #14469).
