Take a few days of sitting in the car and play with it. You can refer to Talon's tutorial as you play with the unit.
I own a Garmin, had a Tom Tom for my other non Nav vehicles, and once I learned the OEM Nav functions, it's pretty easy to navigate.
The OEM Nav is as good or better than most of the GPS units out there including the Garmin and Tom Tom.
The integration with the HUD is a ++ in my opinion.
If your not interested in investing a bit of time, then it will cost you a bunch of $$ to get an aftermarket unit that have an easy learning curve.
DD Mods will look after your after market needs, and have a great reputation on this forum.
Good Luck in your decision

Last I heard, none of the aftermarket nav units will interface with your HUD (if you have or install one) like the factory unit will.
If I had a non-nav car to start with, then I would certainly at least look into the offerings from DD Mods.
But if I had a factory nav that was functioning, I'd just take some time and learn to use it properly.
No GPS unit is perfect, they all just have different combinations of advantages and disadvantages.
We've been using the factory unit for over 100,000 miles over most of the U.S., works pretty well (but not perfectly, like any GPS) for us.
