I just received the Dashlogic for my base 12 couple. The setup and installation was a breeze. I love having the ability to see all the pertinent information for the car. However, I do have a question regarding this device. It seems the lateral G sensor is not reading on the DIC display, is this due to the fact I pulled the wrong parameter or since I do not have the HUD option the sensor is disabled?

It appears you have found a bug on our end, we will get this fixed and get out a new firmware for you. Sorry.
I saw the reference to the gear # display for Auto.....but does this work on the Manual trans for display also..... its not the reason why I would buy it....but would be nice to have the option......
lots of great functions, and seems like you are working hard to keep improving the software...which is great!
Any plans to offer a package deal for non factory f/I cars who want to monitor fuel psi /boost/wideband?
What would be best to have in a supercharged car wideband or egt?
I want to order but I want wideband/boost/fuel psi.
Also how would the fuel psi hook up? and could you run all 3?

We do offer a package with a Wideband. You get boost from your factory sensors, so you don't need anything for that. You can add 2 sensors in, so you could add fuel pressure and Wideband and use the factory MAP for boost. We don't sell a fuel pressure sensor, so you will have to find one of those to add.

I have noticed that the oil temp display by the Dash Logic is off from that displayed on the DIC. It seems to read high when DIC is below 194 and low when DIC is above 194. The trans temp, water temp and oil pressure are right on.
Should the damping parameters update on my 2005 F55? So far I have seen nothing but 0%.
Also, would it be possible to allow use of the software without being connected to the device. This way I can work on the setup without having to have the device out of the car.
This is a great device, looking forward to connecting fuel pressure and AF sensors .

The oil temp is odd because of how GM has done it, there is a PID for "Calculated Oil Temp" from the car, but on a Z06 and Z51 it uses a physical sensor that runs directly to the cluster and is not broadcasted over the bus. We have seen the same effects on our Z51 test car, but it seems close enough that alerts and things would be fine by using it. As for the dampers, we will get that fixed and send you a firmware update to fix for your 05 F55.
Thanks
This thing is awesome. Price sounds like a bargain.
Any way to include custom scripting for those of us who code?
I'd like to get direct access to the HUD frame buffer and display custom graphics just for fun. Of course I would have to complete my HUD install.
I have one of these with the wideband o2 (which I haven't installed as yet) and it is one very damn cool little gadget. What I want to know is, how accurate is the 0-60 timer because yesterday evening I did a total of 4 passes and got some interesting results. The first 2 passes I tried brake-stalling it and it spun off the line and ran a 4.1 and then a 4.4 (spun hard). Then I tried just mashing it from idle and it ran a 3.2(!!) and then a 3.4. I was shocked that launch technique would mean so much in a stock converter A6, but especially surprised that my bolt-on 13 GS with just headers, CAI and a tune, could run that quick?! Therefore, my curious mind wants to know how this feature works and how accurate/reliable the results are.

We do not have a way to do custom scripting. The display will not take graphics, at best you could include arrows and things like the OnStar system can do.
