Trans help

I asked this on the tech Fourm nag got a linkage response but nothing else. Does anyone know why I would lose reverse when alli did was drop the pan and change the filter and fluid. Any help would be appreciated. Reverse less. Thanks

what's the fsm say about it? there must be a diagnostic tree or procedure to see what it might be caused by.

filter may be sucking air if improperly installed. also, the trans may not be full of fluid.

just thought of something else you can check quickly. put in reverse and see if the back up lights come on. if they do, your linkage is ok.
