Well. Understand the general point you are making, but in truth, the lane, time of day, and your RT, shift points and over all consistancy are all variables that may impact your ability to really determine any gains or benefits from a plug wire change..
If you want to really know I recommend a dyno before and after the change.
My last trip to the track had 3 passes all within .003 seconds of each other and not in the same lane. 11.22, 11.20, 11.19 with about 90 minutes and 100' DA between passes. All three passes correct to 10.89 at 0 DA. That's consistent enough for me and more consistent than any dyno pulls I've ever had or seen.
BTW, reaction time doesn't affect ET, but I'm sure you knew that.
New plugs and wires won't improve gas mileage by 20%. Just sayin.
You are correct. I didn't do a technical test. I filled the tank, used a hand held computer to get the mileage. A lot of things are possible.
What I have been seeing on the computer is 22.2 mpg where before seldom saw an excess of 21 mpg. Why there was difference of 2 plus mpg from measurement vs the computer, I don't know. (I fill it tell it clicks off then click it once more)
I like how it feels and it feels thrifty, smooth, agressive and if it was a girl I would say 'sexy'
