Default Corbeau A4 Install Question

I plan on installing the A4s soon and I've searched and read but I just want to double check a few things.

I have an '07 1LT so I don't have side airbags or telescoping steering wheel to worry about.

I have a power driver seat which I will lose. I will be getting the double locking sliders for the install. The seats have to be installed in reverse due to the recling levers. (pass side on driver side and driver side on passenger side) The seatbelts should bolt right up but the pretensioners will not work, correct? However the seatbelts will still function properly?

Now here is where I got some conflicting information. I was told I need the harness from VetteWorks to get the airbag light off. I was also told I need to install the passenger occupancy sensor in the new seat. Wouldn't that let the passenger airbag function properly without the harness or do I need to install the occupancy sensor and the harness? I just want clarification on that please. Other than that I think I have the install planned out pretty well unless there's anything else I'm missing....?

Thanks

Yes, you have to install the seats in reverse, but leave the sliders correct (driver on driver's side and passenger on passenger's side). The pre-tensioners will not work but the seat belts will still work

For the A4's I installed in my 07 1LT, I talked to Dan at VetteWorks who was extremely helpful. The only thing I needed and what he told me were the little black sensors in the picture from this link:
http://www.vetteworksonline.net/cata...6gf27ckuoqebh3

I used the wiring harness from under the stock seat. For the pressure sensor bladder, I took it out from under the stock seat and hooked it back up to the stock wiring harness. It's shaped like an "H" so what I did was fold it in half to make it look like a "U" and then folded it again. I had the car on and when I did that I saw the passenger sensor in my mirror switch from "OFF" to "ON". I then zip-tied the bag and now my passenger airbag sensor in my mirror is always on. I just put the bladder under the new seat.

I would suggest you give Dan at Vetteworks a call and let him know you have a 1LT and he will let you know what you need.

Thanks for the info. I just spoke with Dan (you're right he is extemely helpful) and he set me straight witht everything I need and said to call him if I have any questions during the install, even on the weekend.

He is the perfect example of how customer service should be.
