Went to put air in the tires for the first time the other day and the sensors are not tied to the correct wheel. It's a brand new 2013 GS I bought with 2 miles on it.
The drivers side tires are Rear Left and Right and the passenger side are Front Left and Right.
with your car being a 13 model, your tpms can be triggered with a pressure change in the tire. You can set your car in learn mode, start at the drivers front tire, and work around clockwise tell done.

I believe that's only true for 2010 and early 2011 cars.
Go back to the dealership you bought it from, and go to the salesman or manager who sold it to you. Don't go immediately to the service dept. for this. It literally should take 30 sec to relearn the wheels. If you go to the service dept. it will take a half hour or more.
The sales manager doesn't want a pissed off brand new customer. The service manager sees you as just one more customer with a problem that needs fixed and will put you in the queue.
The dealership should reprogram the sensors but if you want it done quickly Discount Tire typically does it for free. If you take it to DT I'd watch BEZ06's instructional video first so you know how to put the car into learn mode when the guy comes out to do it. Make it easy on the guy.
Mine were incorrect from the factory also on my 2013 coupe. The front left tire was actually reading the left rear. A quick trip to Discount Tire for reprograming fixed the problem. I was driving back from Houston and got a low tire warning for the left rear tire. Pulled in to the next gas station and aired the left rear so that I could make it home. No change after driving a few more miles. Pulled in to the next gas station and got my trusty air gauge out and sure enough it was the front left tire that was low. All is well now after the reprogram.
That may be fine for you but the TPM's should be in the correct position. I'm not not one for the guessing game.
Makes me wonder how we ever managed to maintain our vehicles in the past...oh yeah....we'd look at the tire and if it was squished out at the bottom we'd add some air.
My front tires are wrong also. Not a big deal but makes you question the quality control at the factory. If they can't get something that easy right what are the other things that are wrong that I'm going to find later?

Take it straight back to the dealer and have em fix it. Happened on my 13 GS too. I know Chevys are riddled with subpar builds and expectations, don't tolerate it on a 60k+ car.

Maybe it's just that some of us don't settle for crap. If you put it in the car and I pay for it, is that too much to expect??? Geesh.

Run flats don't squish out at the bottom. Can't tell when they have air in them or when they don't without the sensors.
I wasn't worried about it, just wanted to know if it was isolated incident or more were done wrong. It's put away for the winter so I'll take care of it in the spring.
Not driving 400 miles to go to the dealer I bought from either. Probably will buy the tool and do it myself.
