Wait until '06?
Is anyone else willing to wait until '06 for a powerhouse, AMERICAN looking
Corvette rather than settle for R & T's estimated C6? Short little rounded
cars with arched tops may be big in Europe, but I think it's terrible that GM
would hand this to us as the next Corvette. As much as I love the C5s,
they are starting to look dated to me (they were supposed to be released
in '93, so they're really ten years old), and I am looking forward to a
revolutionary, drastically different car. However, this Solstice 'Vette is not
the answer. If they're doing this just to get it out early and sell more in
Europe, then I guess I'll have to wait for the C7. A Corvette also should
not have any other cars within the GM line that look like it (i.e. Mustangs all
look alike), and the Solstice would be a little 'Vette with the rear chopped off. No thanks GM....
