Default Light bulb change

I have one bulb out for the license plate area. Does the entire assembly for the license plate bulbs have to be removed to change the bulb? I can't get my fingers in there and no way to reach from inside hatch area either.

Open beer, sample.

Using a torx screwdriver, remove two screws that hold the light fixture in the bumper, pull the fixture out of the rectangular opening, replace the bulb, and reinstall. Recommend replacing the incandescent bulbs (both sides) with white LED bulbs which will last longer.

This is not a fat finger maneuver, but can be done with a little patience. Best to lay on your back and check out all the cool plumbing while you are down there.

Finish beer

to make it easier you can remove the inner taillight to be able to hold it while screwing back in
