1. The car has likely been in an accident.
2. For 25k you can get a newer, lower mileage Vette.
3. Even if the car were perfect, 25k for an '05 with those miles is too much.

Judging by the pictures, I would suggest the nose cone has been taken off the car at some point previously. The hood looks out of alignment in the front view because there is a little clip that is on the inboard side of the right (pass) headlamp to hold the top of the nose cone panel as it reaches the headlamp. It has been put on wrong or it is not fully snapped into position. If you look at the side views, you can see the gaps between the fenders and the nose cone are inconsistent on both sides, yet the front to rear alignment of the hood and fenders is good.
I always hold my hood near the center and drop it from about 16 inches to close it. If you close it gently, you will have to push on one or both sides to fully close.

Yes, the front looks a little wonky, it has a funny button on top of the gear shift, and it does not have the signature '05 hockey puck on the roof.
A couple more grand and you can buy my '05 vert, 6spd, Z51 with 45k miles...just sayin...
