Also when you guys shut your hood, does it close right away? because the guy closed the hook and then walked to the left side of the car by the passenger window and pushed that side of the hood down to close completely, ,is that normal?
I push on both sides of my hood to "latch" each side in place without slamming it down. Normal for me at least.....it does look like it needs adjusted slightly though from the pictures, easy enough to do.
Judging by the pictures, I would suggest the nose cone has been taken off the car at some point previously. The hood looks out of alignment in the front view because there is a little clip that is on the inboard side of the right (pass) headlamp to hold the top of the nose cone panel as it reaches the headlamp. It has been put on wrong or it is not fully snapped into position. If you look at the side views, you can see the gaps between the fenders and the nose cone are inconsistent on both sides, yet the front to rear alignment of the hood and fenders is good.
I always hold my hood near the center and drop it from about 16 inches to close it. If you close it gently, you will have to push on one or both sides to fully close.

The hood should latch on both sides when "dropped" from 12 inches.
Looks off. The hood should just close when you drop it. no pushing needed. Run the VIN at a local GM dealer. Might find something else out. In any case seems fishy to me.
I agree that something is wrong.........right front hood/nose piece has a problem.......clean fax does not necessarily mean that car has never been damaged........or repaired.
My wife's mini van was in 2 accidents prior to us trading it in. The dealer asked when we traded if it had been in any accidents we said it had but the car fax was clean. We went through our insurance both times as it wasn't her fault. Go figure I won't rely on them. Always bring it to a body shop to get a opinion, if they can't tell at least you know it was done right.
