Years ago, I frequently saw a guy during morning rush hour driving his old, rusty Datsun (yeah, THAT long ago!) station wagon wearing an open face helmet. I suppose that someone who was recovering from a concussion or who had a fractured skull from a previous accident might feel safer with head protection. If it had been me, though, I would have had to at least try to do 2x the speed limit so I didn't look so lame….

Wearing a brain bucket or a Corvette Racing cap with Jake on the side while driving your Vette on highways and byways will diminish your chance of getting a warning from law enforcement. Don't ask.........
