I want to cam my car, but I also want to keep my stock stall.
I Really want a cam that chops and sounds great. I don't mind having to keep my foot on the brake harder I just don't want the car to push through the brakes.
Any cam opinions or suggestions or personal experience would be great.
We've done some cammed cars with stock stalls and most are sleeper grinds ie they don't lope. The lope is from the overlap, which causes the idle speed to need increasing which is why people say it pushes through the brakes or is on the converter...if you have a strong leg then it won't be as noticeable or may not mind as it will just take more effort to keep the car stopped. Hope this helps, don't hesitate if you would like a quote. This is as big as I'd comfortably recommend in an LS3 car, more cubes can soak up more duration and no cats is going to sound meaner than with cats especially if NPP is open... http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...post1586205806
