How about using a paint pen to make the buttons all black, then scraping off a single vertical line on the first button, two lines on the next button, etc.
You'd need to remember what the "code" was, but it could look almost factory.
Do one and post a picture for us to see if looks factory.

$36.00--ouch
Beats the heck out of replacing the unit I recon
Holey crap! That's a lot of money for a sticker or two. Thank goodness the $6 or $8 overlay guy on ebay gave me two. They are good enough.
My Ebay stickers worked out just fine. Is it perfect? No, but I'd say it's a 8 or 9 out of 10 which is way better than it was before (1 or 2 out of 10).

Agreed. I got 'em, just for that one sticker, and for the improvement in looks, I'd do it again. Lot of money for something so small, yet cheaper than a HVAC head unit. I'll post a pic next chance I get.
I emailed the guy on ebay that use to sell em, he answered me back and sent a link to the same guy in Texas that's selling them now. My friend who is also a dealer tech says they got em for every button on the interior but I don't know if it's the same guy doing these or someone else.
