I truly think these engines are high tech enough not to require this technique, but cant see that it would harm anything ...but I could never leave it uncranked all winter...even if I lived in the great white north....Id still have to crank her every week with the G door open and just sit in the cockpit and dream of Spring....

Chevrolet does not do it when the engines are test fired after they are assembled or anytime there after...if it's good enough for them it's good enough for me...
