quick paddle shift question

quick paddle shift question
do the left and right side paddles allow upshift/downshifting?
I see + on top of both sides - I only have use of my left hand, so left paddle doing both up/down would be fantastic.
Also, I understand the trans shifting can be tuned for crisper shifting. Does that apply during paddle shifting as well?
no cars around for me to test, I'll get an answer here faster, than search for the car..

A tune that includes an A6 trans tune really wakes up the car.
However, there is lots of debate about whether your warranty will be voided or not, my take on the discussion is it probably would be void.
Just something to consider.

I'm 63 years old in reasonably good health but wanted the paddle shift in case down the road I have trouble with a clutch. I really love the paddles ,if you lift of the gas just a split second before you shift up it sounds exactly like a manual.
