...I have had both, and I prefer the GM console lid that I purchased from Gene Culley at GM Parts House, a little more padding than stock, but more suited to my tastes. Different strokes for different folks. Costs were less on the wallet also.

Love my corvettemods console cushion. Very padded and comfy. $89 (and I've seen them have sales as low as $74).

Love my (no logo) DSV console cover, but equally impressive are the door elbow cushions they sell. I couldn't relate to them well in the pictures, but I wanted the padding there too, and I wanted the leather to match, so I bought them. Once I got them installed I was thrilled to really like the look as well as the feel. Expensive, but worth it to me.

I use a bath towel. Keeps the arm from sweating and prevents the stock piece from burning me. Price is free or maybe 4.00 years agao

Got one as fast as I could when I got my GS. After getting one on my previous 07', I was sold.
Very comfortable and outstanding quality from DS Vettes.

I was not looking to change out my console cover but I was forced to give my family some Xmas ideas. Corvette mods was ordered, I installed it, and now I love it.
Happy holidays.

DSVettes on mine. It is great but since it is thicker, beware that it makes the console lid tighter to close. At least on mine it did. So much in fact, that the plastic piece that holds the lid closed has broken after about 2 years of daily driving.

I just recently purchased a 2012 coupe with 4LT interior. The console armrest seems fine for me. I heard GM added extra padding.

Just my .02...
