went to program a new fob but it went to fob # 3 how do I get it to replace fob # 2 thanks

You have to do the "Long" procedure which erases all existing FOB programming then you start from scratch. The first FOB you program will be "#1" regardless of any number stamped on the case. The second FOB you program will be "#2".

I never got around to programming the 2nd FOB.
This discourages my wife from driving - since has to manually change all my settings. LOL!

Fob #1 and fob #2 were programmed at the factory when the car was built. Of course, only fob #1 and fob #2 can have memory options.
