Hi Steve,
Yes, I installed racedeck in my garage approx. 3 years ago.
I really like it, get many compliments too.

Here is a shot of the garage back then after install.
Installation was a breeze, just lock together..
Floor cleans up good too.

Nice job, floor looks great, and the two cars even look better just sitting there waiting to be ridden.
OK, I'll say it I'm jealous.

Looks great: Can you give a cost per square foot? Their website doesn't give prices or any sort of way to price out your job. Thanks, Steve

Lots and lots of discussions regarding Racedeck on the Garage Journal dot com in the general discussion/flooring forum. Mostly all good comments and lots of good information. Do a search for Racedeck, you'll be amazed.

Racedeck website will let you design your own floor, send your design along and they will quote you a price.

I'm waiting to pull the trigger myself but right now other priorities.

FYI,
c5firstimer, now C6 owner and loving it.

Don't use this as gospel but......Racedeck runs "around" $4.33+ per sq foot (per tile). Discounts are rare but do happen.

Six years ago I bought the Costco Motofloor which is Racedeck's lowest end tile that only Costco sells. Same material as basic Racedeck just fewer "dimples" on the surface, which I think makes it easier to clean. But it is only offered in black, white and gray. Costco dot com puts it on sale about 3 or 4 times a year for just over $2.25 sq ft. Just sayin'.

I installed Garage Deck, which is very similar to Race Deck. Garage deck has 7 colors to chose from, whereas Race Deck has 12 colors
BigFloors.com has Race Deck Circle Trac for $3.65 sq ft, and Garage Deck for $2.15 sq ft or less.
I paid $1.99 in 2010
Very easy to install, and I used Race Deck site to make the floor layout.
Be sure to put landscape fabric down between the cement and tiles to stop the echo sound when walking on it.
I had to lift them all up and install the fabric. Very noisy floor if you don't have the fabric under the plastic tiles.

Here is a pic of my flooring installed.

Good Luck. I'm sure it will look great. What color or colors are you going with?
Once you get it finished, we will be wanting some pictures...don't you know

I assume that you can cut the Race Deck tiles near the wall edges?

Thanks, Randy

We use for our booth on the midway at NHRA events and it works great. I wish I had gone that direction instead of epoxy.

Yes you can very easily with a Skillsaw, or jigsaw or table saw.
My white tiles on each sides are cut in half.

I figured that would be the case. I just filled out a layout for a quote on a 2 car garage (21 x 20).

Unless you are stuck on going with Racedeck there are a lot of other options out there. I'm waiting to we move into our new house to build a garage floor.

Leave 1/4" to 1/2" at each edge (depending on area and temperature swings) for expansion.

Do not skip this part. I left 1/2 inch on each side and had to cut some more last weekend since project was done last fall. Expansion does happen.

Any problem using a floor jack or jack stands on any of these floors? Just wondering if the jacks or jack stands leave impressions in the flooring, especially some jack stands that have metal edges for bases/legs. Maybe you folks put something under the jacks or stands.
