Radio replacement
Looking for opinion of folks that ditched their Oem radio . I am looking at the Pioneer AVH-4000NEX or the kenwood DDX7701HD.

One of the Forum's best assets.
What little research I've done seems to indicate that Kenwood has the better GPS/Nav and Pioneer has the better IPOD interface/functions.
Kinda depends on how you are going to use it most of the time.

Not going with nav but both units are app friendly for my iPhone 5 which I can use the nav on the screen from phone

This is what the 6000NEX looks like in the hole. The whole thing Radio, relays, Onstar relay, XM radio interface, Steering wheel control kit, dash bezel kit, camera and install $1,150 out the door. Best Buy did a flawless install.

I just ordered a kenwood setup from Dennis at Double D last night. I chose the DNX991HD after discussing things in detail. I won't be able to show off any pictures for a while or offer any feedback either because I am still in Afghanistan right now. I will do the installation as soon as I get home.
Dennis was really great on the phone and answered all my questions. He took quite a lot of time to help me out. I am very glad I went with him for his knowledge, expertise, and customer service.
