What are you guys paying for your XM/Sirus radio? I enjoy it but heck thiey are getting me for $110. On my vette and $165. On my truck a yr.
how does that sound to what everyone else is paying?
$25 for 5 months for each of our vehicles. I call at the end of that and threaten to cancel and they offer me the price again. Pain to have to call every 5 months but worth it in the end.
Just reactived in my '13 C6. Asked for and received $25 for 6 months. Told them I'll only use it for 6 months cause the Vette goes back in storage November. It was not a problem for them. They just requested I call to cancel. Sent them a check...no CC.
Lisa I am not sure what I am paying, but it is to much for teh two vehicles, but I plan to call and tell them I will cancel if they cannot give me a better deal. I was also told that the dealership that sponsors or club, can get it it for less then $75 a year per vehicle. I just need to go to them prior to the renewal date with both radio ID numbers. They will do all the work for their customers and club members.

^^^ Lisa, what he said..
Been doing that for years on my vehicles. Sometimes they'll offer the $87/year option first, refuse it and say you'll still cancel. Then the $25/5 month or sometimes the $30/6 month deal will be offered. More calls to them, but best price option. They've always been great to deal with, at least to me & I've been doing it since 2009.
First person you speak with will say the above deals aren't available so you tell them to cancel. They will say OK and then transfer you to the 'cancel' dept but they are really the one's who have the ability to offer you the better prices. Worst case if you don't like what you hear, hang up & call again to get a different rep.

Wish I had known this two weeks ago. Just renewed for over $100 for a year :facepalm.
Thanks everyone. I will be calling them tomorrow. Both my vehicles don't come up for renewal at the same time but I have one renewal July. We have had XM since it started. You would think they wouldn't do this. I will have to let you all know how it goes.
Keep your fingers crossed I don't get a bad one on the line.
You guys are so helpful. Thanks again. I love this group

Call them again. I did and told a different person that the last person gave me the wrong set of channels and charged me too much. I ended up with the channels I wanted for much less.

I cancelled, I have sirius and XM radios, and they are now the same company right? but they don't give you discounts based on your total number of radios if they are Sirius and XM, they still count them separately, which is crap, I told them to pound sand....miss it tho.
I have a 1 yr subscription as part of my C7 3LT. I plan to cancel it at the end of the term. It's just not worth it when they play the same songs over and over. I prefer to use my I-Pod with 4,000 songs instead.
I forgot to cancel and they got me once for around $100 for 6 months, but that's the first and only time that will happen. Now I make sure to set reminders on my phone calendar to call and cancel. If I get the same deal, cool...otherwise I'll burn some mp3 CDs or use the AUX input to stream from my phone.
