I searched and found some threads from three years back, and hoping some newer info. is available.
I got OnStar report said all tires were 31psi except right rear at 27. I aired it up. Checked it manually today, still reads 31. DIC now reads 24psi. Any chance this thing will reset itself. Car is 16 months old with 5200 miles. Z06 with Cup Wheels and tires.
My right front TPMS has always been about two lbs lower than truth as measured by my tire gauge (I know it's accurate)...I only use the TPMS for catastrophic failure info, and check my pressures in my garage, with the tires cold...

I do also, but would like for everything to work right. I guess I'm expecting too much.
First, you need to drive the car to let the system read the tire pressures, and second, you need to confirm that the sensors are programmed to the correct corner of the car. For example, many on here have had a low pressure warning, aired that tire up and then found that it was not fixed because the system told them the wrong tire. Check all four with a good handheld gauge and confirm pressures and locations.

that should not happen assuming you follow the correct procedure .. start with driver side front and go around clockwise
Bud; are you coming to the club meeting tomorrow??? If you are, I'll bring my tool and we'll reset all 4 of them. Ric (Classic Chevy) had the same issue with his '13 GS and fixed his with a reset.
It only took me 4 years to convince my service department guy that my right front TPMS was probably bad because I kept getting a RFXXX reading on my 2010 coupe. FINALLY, after changing it out last month, the system is working like it's supposed to. Since I had reported it since the car was less than a year old, I was only charged for labor (multiple reprogrammings had been done in the interim to "fix" the problem). Happy camper now - this has been the only problem I've had with this car - love it!

Thanks for this info. It was the Left Rear that was low, not the right. I know this happens when new tire installed, etc. just thought it would be correct from the factory. Maybe a slow leak. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks all. Great forum.
