I wonder if the 1000hp figure is accurate. Seems the car really falls off (comparitively) after160mph, if my prior experience has anything to do with it-- probably not. Seems to pull closer to a 7-800hp car. Still pulls like a freight train.

Also to be noted this Corvette stays local judging from the DSX Decal (Dave Steck Tuning) and Elco Chevrolet decal on the back. Elco is about 15-20 minutes away in Chesterfield. Still trying to figure out what highway this run takes place on. Most likely 170 Northbound due to the lack of drivers, It's basically a commuter route.

ProfessorDeath just woke up from a coma. We should probably break it to him gently that 5 years have passed. On a positive note, it was good to see that one of the first things he thought of after awakening was to check and respond to his old threads.

If caught, I wonder what the cops would do to you for going 200 mph in a 65 zone within city limits ?
How about the judge .... just as bad as getting a DUI ?

Well, it certainly would not be as bad as getting caught going 200 mph in a school zone !

Many years ago I was pulled over for doing 135 in a 35. The result was not pleasant, but not devastating. I was pulled over because I’d “won.” The “loser” received one ticket . I received 4. Nowadays they just tow your car and arrest you. Things were simpler then. “Street” racing even on abandoned semi-highways with no one for miles can get you arrested.

I see those who dislike me still follow my every move, even many years later. That’s pretty sad for their state of affairs, not to mention state of mind.
