I've never owned an automatic car in 35 years of driving... And the manual in the c6 is probably the best stock shifter I've ever had... I almost always change to a performance shifter in every other car but haven't found the need yet in the c6.....but the MGW gets great reviews...I agree that if you are trying too hard to go diagonally you can miss 3rd and hit 5th...but it centers so well on 3-4 that it almost pulls it into gear.....
